Anyone else fired up about the classic, remastered and returning to the big screen in October. I was only like 8 or 9 when it came out, so I will have to go see it at the theater. I also can't wait till the ALIEN Box Set comes out in November. 9 DVDs!!!!

Agreed. I love Aliens one of my favorite movies. I hope they re-release it also. That would satisfy almost every ALIEN fan out there.

I'd rather see ALIEN in the theaters than ALIENS, both are classic but i would prefer a classic creepy film than a classic action film.

personally i want to see them both, but remember if you really want to see aliens re-released you better go see alien or they might not re-release aliens.

You know, there are few classics I've actually seen on the big screen, and I loved this film, so yeah, I'm gonna check it out.

I'm so there. Alien was a classic sci/fi horror film, that should look great on the big screen.

There's not going to be the re-release of Aliens only because of the box set coming out. The company only wanted the chance to make more money for the series by having Alien coming out right before the box set which sets up drooling fans at the Best Buy stores. Also it's a great time of the year for it. halloween baby!

I'd like to see this movie on the big screen. It really seems like one of those movies that is best fitted for a theatre showing.

I don't like the practice of rereleasing films because it reeks of money-hungry executives so I won't see this in theatres. I'll just rent it.

This is cool stuff, but is it going to get the star wars/ET special edition treatment? A few extra minutes of stuff could be real promising. Especialy if they digitally turn ripleys flamethrower into a walkietalkie, or a blowdryer or something.LOL.

Ah, gs455 beat to it, but HERE'S (http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/436/436969p1.html) the link for it anyways. I personally think they show far too much of the alien in the trailer, considering how rarely its seen in the actual film.
