Is anyone looking forward to this movie as much as I am? It has an excellent cast and Clint Eastwood is a good director despite a few misses (Blood Work, True Crime) and it sounds as if this movie could compete for some Oscar nominations.

The book is fucking amazing and it looks in the preview they follow it quite closely. If it is anything as powerful and most importantly as depressing as the book its going to be great. Although Im curious if they are going to get as dark as the book.

The trailer is amazing. The cast is amazing. Clint is amazing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict this movie to be amazing.

Looks arse-kickingly good. The book is awesome, the movie got great reception at Cannes (critics were surprised when it failed to pick up any awards).

I didn't need to see the trailer to be excited about this movie. But the trailer indeed is very good.

Me too. This will be my exception to my rule of avoiding depressing movies. This looks like and interesting story.

I've actually seen it already. It was really good, not that I wasn't expecting it to be.

It really isn't the best picture of the year, but it'll definitely be an best film Oscar candidate.

For those who have read the book, how does the casting seem to match? Penn was a perfect choice.
