ok, on september 5th there is nothing! on the 29th of aug there is on jeepers creepers 2. but on september 12 look at this
cold creek manor
matchstick men
cabin fever
once upon a time in mexico
this is the first time ever i have wanted to see all 4 movies of a particular release date. and real bad too. i'll have to choose which one to watch, then hopefully i can watch another. looks like i may have to dedicate a whole weekend to my local cineplex.
whih are you gonna see for sure, and are you as upset as i am that 4 great movies decided to compete like this.i mean i'm happy they are all going wide and hope they are successful, but i'm used to one or two i wanrt to see a week. Not 4! imagine if house of the dead still had this date!

Not sure about the Cabin Fevor but the other three look like really good solid films. Matchstick Men being the one I'm anticipating the most.
Shouldn't this be in the upcoming movies forum?

Saw once upon a time in mexico (2 and half stars out of four, read my review in the upcoming movies board!)
Want to see in order:
1.Cold Creek Manor
2.Matchstick Men
3.Cabin Fever
Will end up seeing all of them I'm sure...
Is there some law saying you can't see 4 films on one day? I've done it before. Hell I know someone who saw phantom menace five times on it's opening day- I'm not sure that's very good for your health, but he did it.

Holy Shit!! I did not realize that those four all came out on the same day, I'll end up seeing them all anyways.

The only one that really interests me in the lot, is Once Upon A Time In Mexico. Loved Desperado and El Mariachi. Second would be Cabin Fever, but I think I might just wait for that one on DVD. Cold Creek Manor looked cool at first, but lost its feel when...
**ASSUMPTION SPOILERS (May not spoil at all)**
...I pretty muched guessed no supernatural was involved. Just a cold tale of revenge. Oh, and that thing moving in the bedsheet, upon closer inspection, looks like a cat's tai or something to that effect.l
I dunno, like I said, these are just assumptions, but I'll see when I hear more about it.

Will most definitely see Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Long live El Mariachi! :D

well, the most i've seen in a day is 3, and w/ school and work i just can't dedicate a full day to the theatre right now.
i would though if i could.

The only Sept. 12th movie I'm looking forward to is only released in Britain on that day and it's Blackball. I'm also looking forward to Underworld, but that's not out until the 19th...:(
I know, this sucks. There's nothing new I want to see September 5th (other than Home Room, which won't be anywhere near me), but then September 12th there's three I really want to see:
Cabin Fever
Cold Creek Manor
Matchstick Men
This blows!

Matchstick Men and Cabin Fever are the only two that I have to see because I've been anticipating them for a long time. The others I may or may not see.

my older brother saw both phantom menace and attack of the clones 6 times opening day :)
cabin fever is the only film out of these i will likely see in theaters/opening weekend..matchstick men looks good,OUATIM looks like it COULD be an ok rental but more and more im being driven away from it,and cold creek manor just looks dumb.
also...joblos upcoming theatrical release dates page, has cold creek manor listed coming out the 19th...when the fuck does it come out?Sorry, dont pay attention to its trailers and such.

I really want to see COLD CREEK MANOR the most out of these. Second choice would be MATCHSTICK MEN and then CABIN FEVER. I'm not really interested in ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO, so I won't be seeing that. I still need to see JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 as well.

I will most likely see all 4, but my anticipation for them in order goes like this:
1.) Matchstick Men (HELL YEAH! Looks EXCELLENT!)
2.) Once Upon A Time In Mexico (Hated Desperado, but El Mariachi rocked, and it has J. Depp!)
3.) Cabin Fever (Trailer's lame, but my friend saw this at some festival, and loved it, and I've heard nothing but good word.)
4.) Cold Creek Manor (The trailer has a few cool moments, but I still have this feeling it'll be boring, but I still want to see it.)

I wanna see Matchstick Men and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Matchstick Men is dirceted by Ridley Scott, stars Nicholas Cage, and sounds a lot like "Paper Moon." And the latter has Johnny Depp and the always sexy Selma Hayek in it, and the tralier is cool, so why not see it!

I've always wanted to see Matchstick Men but now my excitement level for it is up 100 times now because Ebert and Reoper just reviewed it and LOVED it! Reoper said Nicolas Cage gives the best lead performance of any actor so far this year and both said it was brilliant!

I read somehwere that they movied Cold Creek Manor to the 19th.
Otherwise, Matchstick Men and Once Upon A Time In Mexico both looks great. Matchstick Men, I have been anticipating for months. Cabin Fever looks like an ordinary horror film so I'll wait for it on DVD.

Here's my ranking:
1.) Cold Creek Manor
2.) Once Upon A Time In Mexico
(TIE) 2.) Matchstick Men (I don't really want to see either)
3.) Cabin Fever (Am I the only one who thinks this movie looks like crap? It looks so damn stupid if you ask me. I have two free passes to see it the 12th but I honestly would rather stay home and stare at the wall for two hours or do my homework or something...)
Now that CCMhas moved the the 19th I'll definitely be avoiding the theater next weekend...
