I never saw DOBERMANN, but I like the cast and the sound of the movie. Add another one up on the list of 'movies that I want to see'.

That sounds pretty cool. Hopefully it isn't a big cheesefest though. I'll give it a look.

Well, that's what worries me too. Because there's also the fact that in the script, Blueberry experiences a number of eerie supernatural events with his Indian friends, so let's hope Kounen won't go overboard with those. But I trust him. And c'mon, Vincent Cassel and Michael Madsen facing each other in a western? To me it's a dream come true... :)

Vincent Cassel fucking rules! I'll definitely check Blueberry out, even if the title is slightly alarming.

Yeah, about that... :) It's just because the movie is based on a french comic book created decades ago, and at the time, the creators of the comic and graphic novel figured "Mike Blueberry" was the coolest-sounding American name you could give to a cowboy destined to French readers. :)

UK release date is 30th July- it's being put out by ugc so it's gonna get a pretty wide release (or at least go into all the ugcs). I'm looking forward to it, the cast is great- Temuera Morrison and Eddie Izzard together, that's...varied. ;)
