Are there any old movies left?

When I used to be asked what films I wanted released on DVD I always answered with classics, but this year and last year the powers that be decided to release a load of classic films, what are we still waiting for? Are there any back catalogue films that need a DVD release?

Gone With The Wind, Citizen Kane, Blade Runner, Casablanca, Key Largo etc. all have DVD releases.

I suppose the only 'classic' we are still waiting for is the origional Star Wars trilogy.

How about "The Adventures of Robin Hood," "King Kong," "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," "The Day the Earth Stood Still," "The Grapes of Wrath," "The Magnificent Ambersons," and "The Producers?" Granted, none of them really have the anticipation factor of a "Citizen Kane" or "The Godfather"- except perhaps "King Kong"- but I'm sure there are many a people who would love to see these on DVD.

Oh yeah, and some modern ones, too.

"To Catch a Thief"
"King of the Hill"
"Stalker" (the Tarkovsky film)
"Jackie Brown"
"The Whole Wide World"
"Miller's Crossing"

Night Patrol... not everyone's favourite movie but I would love it on DVD... Others would be Orgazmo, Killer Nerd, Krush Groove...

I know, they aren't classics to most but in my opinion they are.

Back to the Future and Indiana Jones. I know they are coming, but not til December, atleast BttF. I can't wait to see those. And we need another Goodfellas DVD. The one out at the moment is as useful as having 1000 Laserdisc and 1 DVD player.
