I was sitting here typing on this message board and checking out my collection at the same time, when it hit me... I don't own one fuckin' Quentin Tarantino film, and they are all movies I really love. So I went out the next day and bought Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, and watched all three film that very night for the umpteenth time. Then it hit me... again.

I'm really curious to know what everyone likes about these movies. So I made up a tiny quiz, which will go as such:

Favorite Quentin Tarantino film: Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs
Favorite character: Mr. Orange
Favorite line/conversation: Mr. Orange's story about the cops in the washroom
Best part: Mr. Orange's back story.
What makes it so good: The state of panic these guys are going through.

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: Jules Winnfield
Favorite line/conversation: The burger/foot massage conversation
Best part: All scenes with Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield
What makes it so good: The dialogue

Jackie Brown
Favorite character: Jackie Brown
Favorite line/conversation: Ordell and Louis watching the "Girls Who Love Guns" video.
Best part: The trade-Off
What makes it so good: The 70's yet modern feel to it.

And finally... Your ratings for each film:

Favorite Tarantino Film: Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs
Favorite character: Mr. White
Favorite line/conversation: You shoot me in a dream, you'd better wake up and apologize
Best part: The climax
What makes it so good: The excellent writing

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: Jules Winnfield
Favorite line/conversation: You give her the shot! The day I bring an O.D.ing bitch to your place, I'll give her the shot! Give her the shot!
Best part: Maybe when they inject the needle into Uma, but it's hard to call
What makes it so good: The excellent writing and direction

Jackie Brown
Favorite character: Bridget Fonda dressed so fine
Favorite line/conversation: "What were you in jail for?" "Armed robbery." "Shit, I'm impressed."
Best part: De Niro's only kill in the movie. Really surprised me
What makes it so good: Tarantino's direction again

1) Pulp Fiction (9.5/10)
2) Reservoir Dogs (9/10)
3) Jackie Brown (7.5/10)

Best part: Mr. Blonde's torturing of the cop
What makes it so good: Everything from writing, directing, acting

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: Vincent Vega
Favorite line/conversation: The Big Mac/Foot massage conversation
Best part: Where Vincent shoots Marvin in the face
What makes it so good: The excellent writing and direction

Jackie Brown
Favorite character: Ordell(Sam Jackson)
Favorite line/conversation: The whole "Accept no substitutes" speech
Best part: Where Ordell kills the guy in the trunk
What makes it so good: The direction

Favorite Quentin Tarantino film: Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs
Favorite character: Mr. Pink
Favorite line/conversation: the opening diner scene
Best part: the finale, with all the characters aruging as the tension rises
What makes it so good: Totally engaging characters, interesting scene transitions/plot pacing, and delicious dialogue; The fact that the movie is so genuinely creative, exicting, and engrossing...but the basic plot was so "thin".

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: Jules Winnfield
Favorite line/conversation: The initial diner robbery conversation
Best part: Butch...sword. 'Nuff said.
What makes it so good: Endlessly creative, exciting, funny, and vividly, colorfully, different.

Reservoir Dogs: 8/10
Pulp Fiction: 9/10

I haven't seen Jackie Brown yet

Favorite Tarantino Movie: Pulp Fiction

Reservoir Dogs
Favorite character: Mr. Orange
Favorite line/conversation: "I don't give a good fuck what you know or don't know, I'm going to torture you anyway."
Best part: The big standoff
What makes it so good: The dialogue. Plain and simple.

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: Ringo
Favorite line/conversation: "Any of you fucking pricks MOVE and I'll execute every motherfucking last one of you"
Best part: Opening scene. Best. Opening. Ever.
What makes it so good: The ambience it sets, not to mention, the dialogue. Oh, and Tim Roth.

Final rating:

Pulp Fiction--8/10
Reservoir Dogs--7/10

Favorite character: Mr. Blonde
Favorite line/conversation: The "Like A Virgin" exchange at the beginning
Best part: The torture
What makes it so good: The music, Madsen's playful yet malignant display of psychotic fun.

Pulp Fiction
Favorite character: The Wolf
Favorite line/conversation: "Just because you are a character doesn't mean you have character"
Best part: The clean up courtesy of the Wolf
What makes it so good: The slick informality displayed by Kietel as he cleans up after Vega and Winfield.

Jackie Brown
Favorite character: Jackie Brown
Favorite line/conversation: "Accept no substitutes"
Best part: Fonda getting expired
What makes it so good: Just the way DeNiro plainitively shoots her while she's yaking.

Final Ratings
Reservoir Dogs: 9.5/10
Pulp Fiction: 9/10

Best part: The you can torture me as much as you want "dance" scene.

Favorite Line: Now Jackie can tell me any fucking story that comes into her pretty little head, just so long as at the end of that story she hands me my motherfucking money.
Best part: The Drop-Off/Exchange
What makes it so good: The whole cast.

Pulp Fiction
Favorite Character: Vince Vega
Favorite Line: Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentartion?
Best part: Chuck Berry + Uma and John dancing = Gold.
What makes it so good: How the story is told.

Reservoir Dogs
Favorite Character: Mr. Pink
Favorite Line: You gonna bark all day little doggie, or are you gonna bite?
Best Part: The end.
What makes it so good: Keitel, Madsen and Buscemi.

Best part: Mr.Blonde and stuck in the middle with you.need I say more?
What makes it so good: The fact that its all just a metaphore for big dicks....:D and QT building so much suspense in such a small area...The man RULES

Best part: Bonnie Situation
What makes it so good: I could be like the usual schmoe and say the dialogue but that would jus be a bunch of bullshit...Its great cuz of eric stoltz's presence

Favorite line/conversation: Le Grande Royal with cheese.
Best part: Vincent shooting Marvin in the face.
What makes it so good: Everything.

Jackie Brown
Favorite character: Ordell.
Favorite line/conversation: Ordell and Louis watching the gun video.
Best part: Ordell shooting Beaumont well he is in the trunk.
What makes it so good: The direction and the dialouge.
