The Official Schmoes top 10 DVDs

I got the go ahead of Joblo for this, I want to have like a 'Golden Schmoes' event but well just within one catagory; DVDs. If there's enough interest then it'll happen as follows:
First off we have to figure out regions, obviously we'll have a region 1 list but I reckon any other region which gets ten or more people voting will have it's own catagory.
When I say so you schmoes can send me an e-mail with your top ten list of dvds (including what region they are).
I'll then work out all the numbers on my own and get the results back A.S.A.P

If you're unsure about anything or want to make a suggestion then just do in this here thread, or e-mail me (obzilla@hotmail.com for those who can't find the button). Hopefully we've got enough for a R2 top ten, maybe even R4 since I seen a few of thems around, if you live in a low count region then maybe we can mix two together or something (R3&R4?). well hopefully you'll be as eager as I am.

Is it of all time or just for this year? And if it is just for this year do we include Recent movies or re-releases of older "classics"?

do we have to own the DVD's to call them are favorites or do we just pick any DVD we like.

Do we count Box Sets as 1 DVD, or is each disc in the set separate?

I suppose you don't have to own them but obviously you do have to have seen them, I couldn't tell if you did or didn't anyway!

I think I'll count boxsets as 1 dvd because it's just easier then (is el mariachi/desperado a dvd or boxset? well it doesn't matter) If you have more than one dvd out of a set but not the complete set then you keep each one seperate. eg. if you had Aliens and Alien Ressurrection you'd include them seperately, if you had the Alien Legacy boxset you'd include it as one.

well I can't see any reason for you not to start writing them in now, I'll tally them all up over the next weekend (27th/28th) so be sure to get them in by then.

well over the weekend I was supposed to be doing the tallies but I had computer troubles, and there aren't that many e-mails I've got so come on guys, you're ruining it for the rest of us!!
