Well, I just saw that Will Ferrell has just been cast as Robert Downey Jr.'s replacement in Woody Allen's next movie. While that seems like it could be potentially good news for Ferrell's career...Although I haven't been convinced that is necessarily a good thing, as I really have only liked him in one movie so far, "Old School". Granted, he did pretty much make that movie, but I need to see a couple more great performances from him until I make that decision for sure.

Also I haven't been very impressed with the looks of Allen's work lately...."Anything Else"'s trailer makes me want to see EVERYTHING ELSE. But that just might be because I am not a fan of anything that stars the cast of American Pie, with the sole exception of "American Pie", excluding the middling, then flat-out bad sequels. But hopefully this will be Allen's return to form, and give Ferrell a very solid, classic comic role.

What do you Schmoes think?
