Joe Gillis' (William Holden) introduction to Sunset Boulevard

Verbal Kint's (Kevin Spacey) "Kaiser Soze" speech in The Usual Suspects

Dede Truitt's (Christina Ricci) "opposite of sex" scene in the movie of the same name

-Martin Sheen's (actually his brother whom I am forgetting the name of at the moment) throughout Apocalypse Now
-Robert De Niro's throughout Taxi Driver
-Ray Liotta's throughout Goodfellas
-Fred MacMurray's throughout Double Indemnity
-Malcolm McDowell's throughout A Clockwork Orange (probably my all-time fave voice-over)

Kevin Spacey's ending monologue in American Beauty. Still gives me chills jus thinking about it. So beautiful.




Fight Club was a film filled almost to the halfway mark with voice-overs but it works so well

Sissy Spacek in Badlands

I love some of the voice-overs in the movies you guys mentioned, but none of them comes even close to the haunting beauty of Spacek's vocal performance in Malick's masterpiece.

Joan Fontaine's voice-over at the beggining of "Rebecca" is my my all time favorite.

Otherwise many of my favorites have already been mentioned. Especially Adaptation. I LOVE the voice over in Adaptation.

The first movies that came to mind were Spacey's in American Beauty, Pearce's in Memento, and Cage's in Adaptation.

I said Fallen uses voice over in a very clever way.

Daredevil isn't clever but I just love it.
