1. Harold Angel in ANGEL HEART
2. "The Cook" in SPUN
3. J. Lyman Stone in THE RAINMAKER
4. John Sedley in JOHNNY HANDSOME
5. John in NINE 1/2 WEEKS
6. Stanley White in YEAR OF THE DRAGON
7. Harley Davidson in HARLEY DAVIDSON & THE MARLBORO MAN
8. Michael Bosworth in DESPERATE HOURS (1990)
9. Jim Olstad in THE PLEDGE
10. Gorman Lennox in WHITE SANDS

I know the Mick gets a bad rap from many, but he totally won my respect again in the comeback role of the year...his performance as a crystal meth chef in SPUN. He should have been Oscar-nommed for his best role to date...as a haunted detective in ANGEL HEART. Hey, at least I found 10 decent Rourke roles to list! I haven't yet seen three of his most acclaimed films/performances...BARFLY, DINER and THE POPE OF GREENWICH VILLAGE. I didn't like RUMBLE FISH, and his roles in BUFFALO '66, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO and BODY HEAT were miniature cameos at best, and not substantial enough to list here.

Antonio, my brother, you must see Diner, and experience Boogie. A man so goddamned cool he could be a hairdresser in blue collar 1959 Bal'mer and still get more trim than Sinatra.
