The Sex Pistols have recently concluded their last tour(again) and yes your beloved dionysus was there to see them. it was simply amazing. That has to one of if not teh best show i have ever seen. The pistols were there with the entire original line up, John Lydon(Jonny Rotten), Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock(for those of you who dont know of him despite his master bass skills, he was replaced by sid vicious, who couldnt even play bass at the time, in 1977 for being a pussy). IT was definately worth missing the distillers(who were cancelled anyway) to see.

Just a matter of opinion my dear friend, and your is half true. I like the pistols, but not alot. They are truely generic rock and roll with poor vocals but for their time, they were groundbreaking. I can think of a hundred better bands that have come since but the Sex definately brought "punk rock" into yours and my bedroom.

That aside, I saw them Aug 25 in Toronto and they were awsome. Great performance and Johnny didn't stray from his image. About halfway in some duder spat upon sir Rotten so Johnny left(along with the band). Once they returned, ten minutes later, they urged the lawn seaters to rush the floor and beat the "spitter" to beatin's. I among many others proceeded to cross many barriers until we got to the floor and moshed our hearts out to a band we never saw before(some of us) and will never see again. Pure Magic.

I had 56 ounces of beer and half a mickey of whiskey.:D
