View Full Version : DVD's of shows or movies you'd like to see?

Being that I just got into buying DVD's (they just got cheaper at my local suncoast so now i can finally afford them), I couldn't help noticing that there's some TV shows and movies that I'd like to see on DVD someday. Here's the list.
The Untouchables TV series 1993-1994: A great series that I loved when it first came out. It's based on the story of Elliot Ness and his gang of Untouchables trying to take down Al Capone and its organization. Above average for its day and critically acclaimed, but it did not attract the numbers needed for even a VHS release.
Star Wars: One of the greatest science fiction movies ever and it still not out on DVD. It's almost mindboggling that it hasn't came out, but I guess George Lucas is gonna wait until Episode 3 comes out in theatres, which is very far away.
John Doe: A great series that alot of people loved when it was out, but it was quickly put on the friday slot, where most shows go to die. It ended with what could probably be the biggest cliffhanger in television history.
I can't wait to hear what you gotta say, maybe there is something good I left out
Police Squad! - Excellent show, and it was only six episoides so a DVD set shouldn't be too hard to put together. Sign the petition! (http://www.petitiononline.com/zazfan/petition-sign.html?)

The TV show Action is one of the most overlooked comedies FOX has cancelled, and I wish I could see it again, especially since FX isn't even playing the reruns

They are Urs but it's a slow process to clean them up & make them look as good as the transformers boxes so give them time.
As for what t.v. shows I'd like to see come out on dvd:
A-Team
Knight Rider
V
Greatest American Hero
The Fall Guy
The Incredible Hulk
SweetToothBile

I love it when these posts pop up every so often on the DVD boards - I always try to mention Chris Carter's other show:
Millennium
Although I love extras, if there weren't any included to keep the price around $60 I would be very pleased.

Flight of the Navigator
TV Shows:
The Adventures of Pete and Pete
The Lone Gunmen

Jem (just got announced, woo hoo)
She-Ra: Princess of Power

Movies:
Song of the South: Disney's bastard child. But with the war shorts finally coming out with a special treatment, a SOTS release might be lsated for 04/05. Ive got my bootleg to keep me tided over till then, but Im hoping for lots of extras.
Star Wars: If episode 3 rolls around, and the dvd's are shitty. Ill kill Lucas myself.
Lad: A Dog: Cheesy 60's lassie rip-off. With an adorable Angela Cartwright and Carroll O'Connor. It's so bad it's good!

DVD Ideas... (Posted sometime in the year 2000)
a Black Hawk Down 3 disc Special Edition with a commentary by Rangers who were in Magadishu
a Special 4 disc Edition of LOTR
24 the TV show, Season 1
definately these should be made
=Jon=
Update (9/26/2003): Hey! Colombia Fox and Newline stole my ideas. I should be entitled to at least $1 billion in revenue. Come on, schmoes, you know the idea was mine, the proof is in the pudding (just look up). Back me up, fellas.
