We are all DVD addicts. I feel like a junkie when I enter BESTBUY. Where do you guys get your DVD fix?
I like to go the BESTBUY due to the fact that they usually sell a movie around $5-7 dollars cheaper during it's first week of release. I used to order new releases from DVDExpress.com when DVD was in its infancy and I would get new releases a few days before they hit the streets. Not anymore - I can't wait, so every DVDTuesday I'm down at Chelsea Best Buy in Manhattan.
DeepDiscountDVD.com has the best prices so far online (no shipping and no tax) http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/
Amazon isn't too bad. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/subst/home/home.html/102-3217246-4541707
Yumyumanime.com is good for japanese all region DVDs http://yumyumanime.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=IAALAD

Well, since I pretty much live in the middle of nowhere, as of now my most frequent DVD purchases have been from the nearby BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO. But every weekend I am up in Annapolis or Prince Frederick (another area of Maryland, about 45 minutes away from Annapolis) and buy DVDs from SAM GOODY, WAL-MART, BORDERS BOOKS AND MUSIC and BEST BUY

Best Buy.....
But maybe soon it will be TARGET.
My wife started working there last week and we get a discount.
Have to watch for prices though. I saw a few prices on some and it's pretty close to each other.
Best Buy is usually between 14.99 - 19.99
Just last week I got a coupon from the Lord of the Rings; Two Towers dvd when you enter the code from th Adventure Card and a BEST BUY coupon for $5.00 off the dvd - A Man Apart with Vin Diesel
so we paid around $14.07.

That's funny, cause when I enter Best Buy, it's like I'm a kid in a candystore. So in essence, Best Buy is my favorite place to get DVDs since they usually have what I want at good prices

That's because there's not a monopoly (the RIAA) on movie DVDs. :p

There is also a new place called MediaMadhouse, where all used DVDs are 8.45!

Well the definitive place to buy dvds is definetly WAL-MART....I mean Best buy is way overpriced....and circuit city....well circuit city usually sells me defunct shit (El Mariachi DVD had scratches, the dvd player I bought didn't work.....) So I've lost a lot of respect for it.

I love buying them used in video stores, I save a bundle. Like today, I bought super troopers for 10 bucks, the normal retail price is 35 dollars! I saved 75% and get the same movie, original cover art and all, I have saved hundreds buying them used and never had a problem.

Music World, HMV and Future Shop always have sweet deals! 2 for 30 or 2 for 40.
Radioland is the worst.
Wal-Marts has good prices on most their flicks, but I don't like going in there.
Borders is great but I was only there once in Boston last year...
I have never been to Best Buy because Canada doesn't have it.

There are a few Best Buys near me, and I live in Ontario.
That's where I usually go to buy my DVDs. It's usually cheaper than anywhere else. Example: at one store near me, the Reservoir Dogs 2-disc tenth anniversary DVD was $35.99 CDN. At Best Buy, I got it for $18.99 CDN.

Im surprised to see DeepDiscountDVD only mentioned one time...this place is much cheaper than Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy on almost all deals (not everyone but mostly) and FREE shipping all the time, can't go wrong.
I also love Walmart prices sometimes, found NOES box set for 49.99 the other day there but dont have the cash to shell out for it.

Best Buy....
But now, my wife has started working at Target about a month at their newest store near us. They just opened up last week so I got Hollywood Homicide and The Italian Job. She gets a 10% discount and we got another 10% off for a special store opening....
I will be checking the dvd prices there more.
She works from 10pm- 6am., so she could get the dvds on Tuesday morning when she clocks out of work.
I always compare prices between:
Best Buy
Walmart
C.City
Target - (NOW)
Kmart - usualy higher priced
