OK, so I am gathering up my groups of horror movies a little early this year, but every year I throw a scary-movie bash for me and my friends on Halloween. I need a couple of suggestions to what I should buy in addition to what I already have. And please do not mention SERIOUS horror flicks, for I am just looking to have a good time. Horror DVDs I have are as follows:
The SCREAM TRILOGY Boxset
I Know What You Did Last Summer
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
Final Destination
Final Destination 2
The Haunting
Joy Ride
The Ring
The Others
Valentine
Halloween: Resurrection
Darkness Falls
Swimfan
Identity
Please, any suggestions from you fellow schmoes would be greatly appreciated.
MOTEL HELL
Fun and bloody 80s chainsaw cult fave. Available on DVD along with DERANGED (MGM Double Feature).
RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD
A classic, sort off. Great fun flick.
THE COMPANY OF WOLVES
The perfect Halloween flick in my opinion. Nightmarish, surreal, scary, sometimes funny and full of symbolism.
GINGER SNAPS
More Werewolf mayhem. This one actually takes place on Halloween night. Entertaining and kinda off beat but beware of the US DVD which is full screen only. The Canadian disc is the one to look out for.

The Haunting
Poltergeist
Gremlins
The Frightners
Ghostbusters (more of a comedy but it's also horror)

Fright Night
Fright Night II
Idle Hands
Tremors
Candyman
Sleepy Hallow
Sleepaway Camp 1-3
Silent Night,Deadly Night
Re-Animator

An American Werewolf in London
Shocker
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Child's Play 1&2

Some I could personally recommend...
Halloween
Dawn Of The Dead
The Exorcist
Black Christmas
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
28 Days Later
The Blair Witch Project
But some are of the serious tone. If you want fun try the Evil Dead trilogy, Braindead directed by Peter Jackson and Return Of The Living Dead (which is a really fun horror flick)

The only horror film you need is Rosemary's Baby.

Check out Jason X, not the greatest movie, but it's lots of fun, and any horror fan would enjoy it to some degree.
