1) a social life (haven't had a date in over a year)
2) booze (I'm in the midst of cutting down to getting drunk only twice a month)
3) cigarettes (trying to quit to buy more dvds)
I own about 78 dvds at the moment.

1. Money
2. Having my parents pissed off at me and bitching at me for wasting my money. They're so old school. To bad i don't have the money to move out.
1) Haircuts - I now get my hair cut only after numerous slagging offs. If I'd get my hair cut, say, every fortnight in the past, now I get it cut once a month and spend the money I saved on shiny things.
2) Buckfast - I've had to cut down to one bottle a day.
3) Drinks with lunch - Now I just have nice, free, water.
4) Clothes - Every time I go clothes shopping now, I walk round HMV for several hours and end up buying nothing but DVDs.
I didn't spend much money on anything else in the first place (social what?)

I actually sacrificed buying DVD's to get myself a new Les Paul guitar. Once I hit a 100 or so essential DVD's in my collection, I feel I could make do by renting the rest of the way.

I used to go out 4 nights a week but I cut it down to 2 or 3 so that I can buy at least 1 dvd a week. My car is paid for so I don't have to worry about that. I eat light and cheap so food isn't a problem. And I shave my head so I don't have to worry about haircuts. :)

Steal or borrow them for a while to save money
oh wait did I say steal don't do that:eek:
oh on a side note dvd's should never cut into getting
laid or drinking those two always come first dvd's are a
close third (unless your drunk and you jerk off to porno
dvd's then that comes first)

I've sacrificed a lot. They haven't taken me away from my social life, though there wasn't much of one in the first place. But it did drown my savings for quite a long time

Agreed.
I haven't really sacrificed much for DVD. If I got money for a DVD but one of my friends calls up and says "Wanna go to ______" I'd vouch for that instead of a DVD.

Just makeup, I used to buy way more than I needed, now I just get some more if I run out of something (which is pretty much never) Just one addiction to the other :)
