I did a search, but found no threads on 28 days Later.

I Never saw this movie, but did want to. Is it a good blind buy?

Movies ok I wrote a Review of the Region 2 dvdhere (http://www.dvdlard.co.uk/disk_review.php?did=375&pid=17) check it out if you wana know abit aobut the movie.

Its good but could be bether , BTW the region 1 release of the disc will be alot bether then region 2 extra wise. EI more Alt endings.

I wouldn't reccommend a blind buy....Rent it...I personally enjoyed it (Can't wait for the alt endings) but I must say not a lot of others did....I think I've been to easy with my ratings so far in 2003

Finally, a new DVD that has a cover that not only kicks some ass, but actually looks like it's kick-ass poster, and without any changes or alterations!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

Sorry.... :D

Anyway, I'll be picking this up. It was a good horror flick, despite that dreadful and horrifying "Hollywood" ending. I'm also dying to see those alternate endings as well... can't wait for 'em.

I saw it and highly enjoyed it... I would say yes, but you will find some who will disagree with me...

NO, do not blindly buy this. Personally, I didnt like this movie. It was slow and only semi-interesting. Plus the editting sucks really bad, which is too bad cuz it couldve had some good scares. 5/10

My advice is rent it first.

I'd rent it first. I liked the movie, but isn't a movie I'd see more than once, so a blind buy might not be the best option

When I read the subject I thought it was gunna be some cool new cover but its the same as teh REgion 2 one i think. This was a cool movie with a SHITTY ENDING. However its stilla buy for me.

Its one of my favourites of 2002 and own the R2 DVD.

If you like horror flicks with a bit of thinking involved then go for it...you might be pleasently surprised.

One of the best movies ive seen this year, and the only movie to really creep me out (other then The Ring) that ive seen in a loooong time.

I'd pick it up just to see the alternate ending(s). And yes, the cover art does look fantastic.

I think it's a great 'blind buy' I'm definitely gonna buy this in 32 days (and counting) The cover art for the DVD is pretty much like the Region 2, but like you all have said...much better special features...and yes the "hollyweird" ending did suck a little, but it gave you hope IMO. Besides the alternate endings are waaaaaaaaay better. I can't wait for the "totally whack/fucked up" one that Danny Boyle is putting on.

And on another note...the cover art does make a great poster. I have about 5 posters plus a big cardboard standee of it...with the yellow infectious eyes just staring you down....Oooooh it's great!

Alternative ending oin the Region 2 is no where near bether! you going to tell me the chicken solves every thing?:)


hehe I hope the region 1 has bether il rent it before buying and if i buy il sell my region 2 copy.

On the R2 DVD there is an alternate take of Jones' death where he is killed by the infected who overrun the minefield to enter the house. We then see Major West shoot the floppy-hatted infected soldier (with great remorse) before locking the door on a corridor full of infected, one of which tries to bite through the glass to get to him. Finally we see Mitchell and Selena stumble upon a basement full of infected before the scene where Jim kills Mitchell.



I dont have this ending on my R2 disc...
