I am looking for some really rare music files in the net but I can't find any, could you help me? Kazaa doesn't have them.

Most of my friends who are into really indie stuff use a program called Soulseek..

But I'm looking for an specific artist that sings in spanish, he is called 'Jan', I think he's Mexican. And I hear soulseek is more for trance and electronic music...anyway, do you think I'll find this here?

Find out if your isp has a newsserver (usenet), if you don't know you can contact and ask them. If they do, then download a program called GrabIt, enter your newsserver info and search in the list of newsgroups for a spanish music group. Then you can post a request in the group and hopefully somebody will post what you want for you to download.

Being into independent hip hop Kazaa and WinMX always disappoint.
I need to get some decks again so I can buy the 12" singles.
