Girls Aloud (Stay With Me Here - There Is A Point) Told They Are 'Too Fat' For Fame.

I can't believe - no matter how shite these manufactured groups are- that the girls from Girls Aloud have been put on a strict regimen to lose weight as they are, apparently, 'too fat'. This has got to be the most ludicrous media story of the week, is it not? When five healthy girls - no matter how shite these manufactured groups are - get ordered to slim down from, what, 6 stone to 5 stone, the message that is being sent out - no matter how shite these manufactured groups are - is utterly dangerous.

Does anyone else think that these record companies are sending out - no matter how shite these manufactured bands are - a ridiculous example of aspirational lifestyle choice to be copied and imitated by the groups market base of teenage (and younger) girls?

Even though I've never heard of Girls Aloud (and likely don't care), I will say that the music industry and the media are some of the cruelest assholes for telling women how to look. I'm not a feminist by no means, and I'm not gay either. The whole pimp persona with rap is getting annoying and stupid. Even having 50 Cent strolling around with his pimp cane leaves me to believe the guy lost some brain cells when he was shot. Please, would you want your daughter or sister or mom even doing this stuff? I mean it looks classy, but that's not real life. In real life, pimps beat their whores sometimes, and they don't usually look that good afterwards anyways. I don't mean to be preachy, I just want people to think about it, you know?

That is ridiculous. Those are all healthy attractive girls with no more than a pinch of fat on them. Why do the record executives want their clients to resemble disgustingly skinny skeletons? I was watching the Emmys last night and I was repulsed by how many bones I could see in the women's chests and backs as they were walking up to present awards. For the love of God---eat!!
