Worst endings to otherwise good movies

What would you say are some good movies with crappy endings?

I'd say Mortal Kombat's ending - I enjoyed the movie, but that
ending was just so damn cheesy!

The FRIDAY THE 13TH movies are some of my biggest guilty pleasures, and I do enjoy them, but their endings are practically always the same....oh well, what else can you expect from those chessy slasher flicks?

I really enjoyed this movie up until the kid became the killer. That wasn't needed. I was plenty satisfied when I thought Liotta was the killer.

An unnecessary twist to an already twisted enough story.

I liked the ending but I do agree that had it been cut ten minutes earlier, it would have still been fine.

One Fine Day doesn't exactly have a bad ending, per se. It doesn't have an ending period. But I really liked it other than that.

Desperado had a very anticlimatic ending

Interesting tidbit from the imdb, no fuckin clue why this isn't on the DVD..

Reportedly, Desperado suffered severe cuts when initially submitted for an R-rating. The end sequence originally involved a large scale shootout between El Mariachi, Carolina, Bucho & his thugs. After seeing the amount of footage that needed to be trimmed, the director opted to delete the entire scene which currently ends in a slow-mo of Banderas blasting away.

WHY OH WHY isn't that on the DVD!?!?

The Ninth Gate had a terrible ending! I loved the film's atmosphere it was like a cool, mystery film-noir style film with an intersting story and a nice performance by Johnny Depp...but the last act was just laughable and was a huge let down.

I think somebody told me a long time ago that that pistol was "supposedly" something from some town in a colony or something where everybody disappeared in the 1770's or something, thus the date on the gun.
