Hey, all! All movies have great scenes. However, there's a difference between that and a scene that made you say, "God, this movie is great!" So, what scene in a movie, after you watched it, made you say, "God, I love this movie!" Me:
Signs: The Brazilian video/Pantry scene
Pulp Fiction: Mia's overdose (Amazing acting)
Goodfellas: Henry's long day with The Stones playing in the background
Back to the Future: Huey Lewis' cameo/the last 30 minutes
Could Be Worse

Hmm...
The Rules of Attraction: Sean and Lauren's first conversation, with a brilliant use of split-screen.
The Fellowship of the Ring: The departure of Boromir.
Terminator 2: "Goodbye."
Terminator 3: The Terminator attacking Connor.
Obviously not all of my favorite movies, but they jumped to mind :)

Pulp Fiction-Pick a scene. The whole beginning monologue is genius, and the restaraunt scene ranks up there.
Almost Famous-Tiny Dancer scene.
Love Story-The ending with the booming music.
Goodfellas-Clapton's Layla playing. Ace.

Every other scene in Gone with the Wind. For example: the opening scene with Scalrett sitting on the porch of Tara with the Tarlton twins going "Fiddle-dee-dee. War, war, war! All this talk of war is spoiling all the fun at every party this spring." Gotta love the spoiled little vixen.
Also the scene at the barbicue at Twelve Oaks, when they hear the war started and everyone is running frantically down the stairs, only Scarlett is climbing slowly, completely oblivious to everything that's going on around her.
The long close up of Bergman's face as Sam plays "As Time Goes By"in Casablanca
The fight in the theater in All About Eve
The hotel kissing scene with Ingrid Bergman & Cary Grant in Notorious
The 3-4 opening minutes of Rebecca

Boogie Nights -- the montage towards the end where everything goes to hell pretty much. the music in that part is excellent and makes the whole experience scary and tense.

Vanilla Sky -- Good Vibrations
Pulp Fiction -- the last scene with Jules and Ringo, one of the best speeches ever
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas -- the first scene in the car as well as Gonzo in the bathtub scene
Batman -- "I'm Batman", totally badass

For me, it's really little subtle things that gets me... not specific sets or plot points. For instance...
Raiders Of The Lost Ark - Indy is in the tavern getting shot at and he's in a corner. A bullet comes right by him, Indy looks surprised and then reaches in his pocket for something really quick-like. That made me laugh and I thought it was cool.
Evil Dead - At the beginning, Ash is in the backseat while the two up front are singing a song. The camera focuses on Ash and he looks right in the camera with a grin on his face. That let me know I was in for something unorthodox right there.
Jaws - when Roy Scheider's "Brody" character is in the boat shoveling chum, the shark pops up, and Brody pans into camera with the cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Makes me laugh every time.
Also, when the Kitner boy is getting chewed up and the camera does a weird focus on Brody in his chair looking on... Cool as hell scene

Good question. The character of Phyllis Dietrichson is really a complicated one, and I guess at the very end I still wasn't EXTREMELY sure whether she really couldn't do it, or she was just being manipulative. She's cold, heartless and rotten to the heart, but yet something about her in that end scene makes me feel as if she does have a softer side to her, especially when it comes to Walter; perhaps it's Barbara Stanwyck, who's so flawless at doing those type of roles, that made me believe it. I'm not completely sure, really....but maybe she didn't expect Walter to shoot her, as she realizes how crazy he's crazy about her, and that they might have a second chance. So, yeah, I think she might've felt, if not a lot, then maybe little for Walter at the end....
