I choose Tremors. I'll admit I have a soft spot for it.

I said Jeepers Creepers. I wasn't crazy about the movie but it had originality.

Tremors

Cheesy as hell, but thankfully, doesn't take itself too seriously. Everybody plays their part to the hilt, there are some great one-liners, and the monster effects are awesome. Great fun.

TREMORS; a kickass horror/action/comedy, and pretty much the only time I've ever tolerated Reba McEntire.

Tremors was great, but Eight Legged Freaks is so chessey and fun at the same time. I wouldn't call it brilliant, but I'd call it fucking hell as hell!

My love for Tremors is almost as great as it is for Jaws. The characters, setting and monster are all pefectly relized.

Other: Deep Rising

Treat Williams and Famke Janssen fighting flesh-drinking sea monsters on a huge ocean liner. What more could a person ask for?

What about Jurassic Park, the film which inspired many of those listed above, & others like Godzilla(1998) &, mostly, straight to video stuff?

I haven't forgotten Jaws, but that film has more in common with Psycho than with King Kong & Godzilla(in terms of how it was filmed, that is).

Famke Janssen removing at least one more article of clothing than she did.

Lack of nudity make me and baby Jesus cry :(

I'm talking about B-Monster movies here, ones that revel in their own cheese.

Though you could probably argue that JP/Jaws fits in that category, I see them more as grade-A movies and are far from cheesy IMO.
