I think that is the famous scene in the first Nightmare where his bed swallows the actor Johnny Depp and a fountain of blood gushes out.

In detail? I'll try..
Johnny Depp (a lot younger at the time) was laying in his bed listening to music and watching a portable TV late at night. He ends up falling asleep and Freddy's claw comes out from his bed and basically sucks him in. Few seconds later blood flows out of the bed. You should check it out; it's great. :D

Yeah, I consider it the most gruesome death scene I've ever seen in a movie.

Did the blood come from jhonny depps body?

where did Jhonny Depp go when he went in the bed?

1. I guess.
2. The first one.
3. Unknown.
My guesses:
In the theatrical cut: He was like shreded to pieces by one of Freddy's tricks.
In the one where he emerged from the bed: He could have been drowned in the blood of others since his body was unscratched.
Only Wes Craven knows. :)

You sort of have to use your imagination. What we see is Johnny alseep on his bed with his music and TV on. Suddenly, Freddy's claw comes up through the bed, and a hole opens up leaving Johnny to fall into it, as well as his music and TV. What we see next is blood gushing out like a fountain. It was a dream, so anything, like a dimension created by Freddy, could have been under the bed, so I think that once Johnny fell through the hole, Freddy sliced and diced him, leaving his bleeding blood to gush out through the hole. I also like to think that his bed "ate" him and "spit" out his blood, if you will.

That has to be the best death scene in the Nightmare series IMO, very cool. If you haven't all ready Soundstage do so now. Its my second favourite in the series (Dream Warriors being my number. 1 favourite).

Id have to say its top five but not the best in my eyes...the first kill in the first movie always gets me. Tina gets sliced! :)
