OK, I swear to you all, when i was a kid , somehow, someway, someone gave me a movie poster for Goonies 2 and my brother had it up on his wall for a little while

I have never heard of or seen this movie since

Has any of you ever seen advertising for it?..or ACTUALLY seen the movie?

i remember seeing some goonies pic with everyone now present like 10-15 years older...

yeah xcoryx, i saw that pic as well, chunk lost some weight didnt he?

There was also the episode of tales from the crypt that brought them all back together

but the poster was way back when they would have only been a few years older than the original

They need to release a Goonies 2 or a Gremlins 3 to make me truly happy!

i personally think a goonies 2 would be just stupid and dreadful.

Are you sure it wasn`t a poster for the old Nintendo game "Goonies II"?
The game was actually called "Goonies II", not just "The Goonies".

The box art for the game was an illistration depicting the various characters. It looked like it could`ve been for a movie.
If you go to some of the "Goonies" websites you should be able to find a picture of the game cover.


My personal theory is that there WAS going to be a "Goonies II" back in the 80`s when they were all young.....but something fell through and it didn`t happen.
I believe this because my brother (an avid collector of film scripts) says he came across a script for "The Goonies II: Willy`s Revenge" a long time ago.

That game rocks, even if I get lost most of the time while playing it.

Yes, it WAS a great game [kinda off the subject].
And yeah I got lost a lot too - but that was part of the fun, getting lost and exploring all the different "areas".
Didn`t have much to do with the movie though. You had to rescure a Mermaid who was friends with the Goonies (?). Boy I hope that mermaid wasn`t going to be in the movie sequel (if they had made it).
