There`s a page for it at the IMDB, but no info at all, only a short plot description.
Lord knows why I`m so curious about this.....but I am.

I had a similar problem when I first read there was a sequel. I thought abfout contacting someone involved, but of course I never did. I figure it is either one of those rumors that imdb likes to accept and pass off.

I really wanna see this flick though. BADLY.

I actually liked Laserblast (I am one of two people that I know of who liked it).

Has anyone seen the remake (Deadly Weapon?)

Gluttony according to the IMDB the sequel was directed by Charles Band (using an alias), and the plot is about two young boys who find the ray-gun. That`s ALL the info they have for it.

Deadly Weapon is one kick-ass film. I would say its up there with the sci-fi greats. It beats the 'Alien' films any day.

NOT.

It is however a classy piece of sci-fi cheese from the master himself - Charlie Band. I've been collecting his work for years now and have over 100 movies he's produced. 'Deadly Weapon' was one of the hardest to track down but I managed to grab a copy of the Amazon Marketplace. I'm quite lucky because its the original release and actually has the original hologram cover !!

Isn`t that a young Lou Diamond Philips in "Deadly Weapon"?
