This Saturday, 4 of my friends and I are going to a Haunted House. The 3 girls have decided on Rocky Point Haunted House. We have that and one other big one here in Utah (Nightmare On 13th Street). So, in two weeks my girlfriend and I are taking another group of friends there. But, this is my first time going to a Haunted House, they have all been to one. Anyhow, my question is, what are the big Haunted Houses in your area, or what is your favorite (be it your house, a real one, a local theme park one, etc.)?

Queen Mary (http://www.queenmaryshipwreck.com/)
The Queen Mary Shipwreck. They actually have several mazes and a dance club and all sorts of goodness.
I first went 2 years ago, we went to the maze on the ship first (far away from everyone else). It was amazing, we were pretty much by ourselves so that we didn't know when something (or someone) would jump out. There were several sections that were PITCH BLACK, I had to feel my way around.
My friends and I are planning on going next weekend.
The Queen Mary Shipwreck and IFC Indy Screams are my two favorite Halloween events!!

I don't know shit about real haunted houses but as far as movies are concerned:
-'The Haunting': Gotta hand it to them, the house alone is creepier than any event in the movie.
-'House on Haunted Hill' (remake): This is scarier than scary.

Here in San Diego we have a real one called the Whaley house which is one of about 20 government sanctioned haunted houses, if you can believe that the government actually gets involved with sort of thing.
We also have The Nightmare on Market Street and one other one i can't think of.
