That's very interesting. I didn't know anything about this. I'm not terribly familiar with Welles works (I haven't even seen Citizen Kane) but I intend to rectify the situation in the near future. It's impossible to even predict how successful this movie could have been. Interesting though.

2 names I never thought I'd see in the same sentence working on a movie? That was a really interesting article, and would've been considered a landmark to have one of the best directors of the 40's to helm a superhero movie

It would have been awesome for Chris Nolan to have realized Welles' vision of Batman.
