Every year near the start of October i go out and buy some random Halloween movies to watch just to get me festive, this year i took a trip down to Best Buy to pick up a few movies ive been meaning to get my hands on but i need your help!

I need your opinions of my selections, u can rate or give a summery of what u think of each movie or even a full length rant if u wish! Am a buying classics or flushing my money?
Lend me your voices my fellow shmoes!

First up is the now classic "Vertigo" by Alfred Hitchcock. I loved "The Birds" and "Psycho" and thought i would finaly watch what many call Hitchcocks best! Vintage greatness or past its prime?

Second we have "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes"! I faintly remember watching this when i was little and enjoyed it and thought id see how this insanely stupid(in a good way) movies holds up! Does it revel in its cheese ot just plain stink?

And last is a movie ive been looking for for a long time but came upon it by sheer chance at a Wal-Mart. The greatest Jaws rip off ever, "Piranha"! Does this movie even deserve to be utterd in the same sentence with the classic "jaws" or this a mighty beast all its own?

..and there u have it! Any opions of these movies would be appriciated and welcomed!

For me, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was almost unbearable. A tired spoof that crawls along at a limp pace. But I'm in the minority, so you might be in good shape. Piranha is a blast, one of the best Jaws by-products out there. I haven't seen Vertigo, but I've been meaning to. I'm sure that it's an engrossing watch.

Aye, Attack was purchased out of sheer nostalgia(much like Monster Squad will be when it hits DVD!muhaha) and its the one im most uncertain about.

I havent' seen attack of the killer tomatoes

Piranha (the original) was excellent. I love Joe Dante and wish he would delve into horror a bit more. The remake was kind of flat but still enjoyable, which version did you get?

Vertigo sounds familar but not sure if Ive seen it or not. One of the things Im planning when I get more money is to buy a lot more Hitchcock, I loved that guy

I must have got the original, it says 20th anniversary on the DVD. I have now watched this as my first movie to try out and i got to say it holds up pretty well even today. The one thing that got me was...

When the Piranha swarm attacked the children swimming in the lake and killed them! Im used to men and women dying in horror movies but children dying always gets me. I couldnt even believe that kid died in Sleepy Hollow! Gritty stuff!
