I've seen it twice. I also read the book, which had a different ending. It was alot better than I thought it was going to be. As soon as I heard the opening theme I was ecstatic. I loved Freddy's opening monologue as well. Robert Englund was amazing as always. I've always loved the Freddy and Jason franchises. Seeing them on the big screen together was great. I too cannot wait for the DVD to come out. I've heard it will include all the alternate endings as well, one of which is how the book ended. Whatever extras it has on it I will be a happy camper. :D
