I've been looking forward to ordering the R1 version of the movie instead of going to the cinema and now its Regional Code Enhanced.
Any Brits know if Wharfedale 750's play RCE titles.
Cheers.

can you set the region manually? RCE only fails to spin on multiregion players, if you tell your player to be r1 it is not multi region and rce disks will work.

I have a pioneer all code player, and i have yet to have any problems playing the fancy new RCE discs.I'm not positive, but somehow the RCE software is supposed to look for a specific region or it won't play. Now,according to theory, all code players are actually region 0,and in turn the RCE software won't play because 0 is not an actual number(or is it?).Like i said,i haven't had any problems so far with RCE discs, but i can't speak of the Wharfdale, sorry.
This link may answer some of your questions, your Wharfdale is listed as players that work with RCE.

Thanks a lot guys.
My DVD player isn't a multi-reion player it only "officially" plays R2, I had to put a code in for it to be multi region.
I'm gonna order it anyway. Only problem is that if it doesnt work the web site says they wont accept any returns based on the RCE.
Cheers.

If your serious about watching films from other regions, even ones with the bulltit RCE feature, and you don't want to have to type in some code every time you watch certain discs, check out this site:
http://www.codefree.com/home.htm
You'll definitely find a DVD player there that's modded to play any DVD from any region. And some of them can even play NTSC discs also.
Also, this is where i bought my player, excellent service and prices, just not sure if they shipped to UK:

Can't remember the code because I bought my player a few years back. I only had to put it in once.
Surely waiting to July 12 and seeing it at a cinema is less expensive and troublesome than importing and hoping it works on yer player. And you might hate the film.
