Someone gave me this Adam Sandler movie for Christmas one time, called Going Overboard. He hadn't seen it, and I hadn't seen it, but he figured I might like it since I like Adam Sandler movies.
It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It was a very early movie of his, from the 80's, and it was extremely low budget. It wasn't funny at all, it was in fact excruciatingly unfunny and I couldn't bear to continue watching it, even though I did just because I owned it. It was rated R, even though there was nothing there except an S word or two.
The back of the DVD boasts "hilarious stand-up comedy" and "sexy montage sequences"--the stand up comedy is very very corny and I didn't even chuckle, and the sexy montage sequences are basically about two minutes, which are introduced by Adam Sandler with "And now some hot girls in bikinis!", and include one girl rolling around in the sand in a bathing suit, and she really isn't that sexy. The back also boasts that it has the trailer for the film, which it does, but that's all it has. The trailer actually makes the film seem better than it is, but not good enough to watch.
Has anyone seen this movie? Is there anyone on earth who actually liked it?
