Has anyone seen this TV movie from 1991 that spawned I believe two sequels.....maybe three...I remember watching the first one with my sis when it came on TV but I can't remember much except that it did scare me and so I rented it to give it another look....what did you guys and gals think of this film....and are the sequels good too??????

I think this is the one I saw although it might have been one of the sequels. I thought whichever one I saw was okay but it could've been better.

It is allright, I have seen the second one as well and that is no better. The third one is not even a sequel (except in name) so I want to check that one out.

Sometimes they come back wasn't a bad movie. It was pretty character orientated and loaded with drama. One could almost say it was a horror flick made for Lifetime!!! So some people may shy away from the picture after witnesses that sort of thing. But I still found the movie interesting.

The second was horrible. I hate when certain people die and it just disgusted me. Also, it was pretty silly and just pointless.

The first "Sometimes They Come Back" was quite entertaining.

The sequels however, I would rather watch 6 hours of that Yu-Gi-Oh show and be kicked in the nuts with a steel boot them watch them ever again. Terrible movies.

Sappy and repetitive. Granted, I only watched the first hour, but it was...sappy and repetitive. The flashback sequence should have been placed at the beginning of the film instead of interrupting the pace 20-30 minutes into the flow of things. I have no interest in the sequels.

I just can't stand it and you're talking to someone who liked and watched every episode of Blossom, Boy Meets World, Family Matters and other such shows.

Sometimes They Come Back was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed it for the most part. It's one of those flicks that you watch once and then later on down the road might watch it again to get a refresher.

I've only seen the Sometimes They Come Back Again and that one didn't tickle me in the slightest. At least I can't remember it being any good. >.<!

wow that was crappier than i was expecting, the plot really got on my nerves and was difficult to sit through at times, i felt like running away screaming at times because it was so stupid, the whole thing just didn't work for me...didn't help that the acting was mostly pretty shitty, the music score didn't fit it and the script was hilarious at times

3/10

I enjoyed this movie as a kid because I dig ROBERT RUSLER and thought CHRIS DEMETRAL and TIM MATHESON put in solid performances. I had a soft spot for the backstory and found certain scenes quite upsetting! It doesn't particularly work as a horror movie, and doesn't really work as a straight laced drama, but the mix of the two was even enough for me.

My mates and I used to watch it when we got older and take the piss out of it ("RUN JIMMY RUN!") but it remains one of my not so guilty pleasures. :)

Wasn't the first adapted from a novel or a short story by Stephen King? It was ok i guess, haven't seen it in a very ling time. Sometimes They Come Back for More, however, was crappy as hell.

yeah it's a short story in Night Shift. i saw it years ago, gave it a 3/10. can't believe they squeezed two sequels out of it.
