No way, CHUD2 is a great b-movie classic, imo. I thought it was quite amusing but then again I'm a (big) idiot.

who couldn't love Bud the chud? (a rip off of Bub the zombie from Day of the Dead)

Never seen this, but I`m guessing it has nothing to do with the original, right?

Well, the only link up to the original is the fact that the chuds at the begining of the movie are the infected humans from the first one.
This is a fun film which (almost) has nothing to do with the first one.
Fans of this flick should check out the UK DVD. It's full screen and barebones but has a nice looking transfer.

Yeah but do they even look like the creatures from the original? Or just regular people?
BTW, 'Bud the Chud' is played by Gerrit Graham, Andy Barclay`s adoptive dad from "Child`s Play 2".

Is the first CHUD worth picking up? It was either 4.99 or 6.99 at Kmart today on VHS but I wasnt sure

Don't forget "Used Cars" and "Police Academy 6: City Under Seige"
Erin - C.H.U.D. is a great b-movie classic, worth the 4.99 price tag in my opinion, you can't go wrong with DANIEL STERN (who is god)

Not a single mutant creature from the second one so to answer your question: no.

Over the past few years I've had a strange desire to see this movie, maybe because I liked the original so much.

Chud was fun.
Chud 2 is not even good enough to wipe my ass with.
Bloodless unrelated piece-o-shit sequel that has crappy acting and bad gore. To own for collector purposes only

I really like the original chud, and the second one, although unrelated, Is a great and hilarious romp, not to be taken seriously. Its definately underrated.
