My friend had been trying to register for the past two days. The thing just says "The administrator has disabled this option." and says to try again at a later time? Why, and/or what can she/I do?

The same thing happened to my friend. But she registered a few days later.

I beileve when a lot of people register, Jo disables it for a few days.

With close to 12,000 registered members to the board, we close NEW REGISTRATIONS from time to time, because we want to assure a QUALITY movie discussion board and aren't so much interested in the QUANTITY aspect of it.

Being a PRIVATELY HELD SITE, we consider being a member of our board as a privilege, and not a right, hence our RULES AND GUIDELINES (http://www.joblo.com/rules.htm) and our respectful reputation.

New registrations should be turned back on for now.
