Has anyone got any news on the Death To Smoochy DVD. This was one of my favorite films of 2002 and was hilarious, so I can't wait for it on DVD.

Thanks dude. A commentary by the great Ed Norton/Robin Williams/Danny Devito trio would be nice. Some deleted scenes would be a no-brainer. I hope they aim for an August release so I don't spend my B-day money before I can get it. And plus my lady friend hasn't seen it yet.

I heard about some footage the director cut feature lots of blood and gore, not because of the MPAA but because the director didn't think it fit in with the movie. One shot mentioned was when the guy got his head chopped off ("...with an AXE!!!") you see blood shooting past the camera, or something like that, it was in an interview I read about a while ago. Maybe some of this will end up on the DVD?

I wouldn't recommend having ur lady friend see it, since its funny, but in a very uncomfortable way. its not an everybody type of movie

Trust me. She's a smooth lady who likes everything from Fight Club to Blade. And plus she REALLY wants to see it.

Fight Club is the best movie ever. If you haven't seen it rabid chickens will come to you house and eat you half-alive.

Hey, guys! Some great news! www.videoeta.com (http://www.videoeta.com) says that Death to Smoochy will be released on Sept. 24, 2002 with a suggested retail price of $26.98.

Awesome! Straight from www.dvdempire.com (http://www.dvdempire.com) , Here's the specs on Smoochy (no pic available yet):

It will be released on Sept. 17, not the 24. The SRP is till the same, but if you order it through DVD Empire, it's only 18.89.
