I feel like sharing this: Now due to meeting all these Celebs over the years via the work I do on the site, I have become somewhat jaded. I haven't felt star-struck in ages. Well that changed last weekend.
I was at the "ELF" Party with Indiana Sev at the top of the Empire State Building. Both Sev and I we're chilling out with drinks in hand, we saw Will Ferrel, talked shop and toasted with Jon Favreau and that alone was the shite.
But then who do we see at the far side of the room hanging 10 with a hot 20 something chick? JAMES CAAN. Now I'm a huge Caan fan. When I go out to party, my friend's and I have this inside thing where we say, "What would Jimmy Caan do?" before hitting on chicks or ordering drinks.
So there he was, the man, the myth, the Caan. I had to shake his hand. So Sev and I walked up to him. I told him: "Excuse me Mr. Caan, I'm a huge fan of yours and would be honored to shake your hand. He gladly extended his hand and shook it, thanking me for the props. I then thanked him for all the fine movies he's given us, Sev mumbled something about "Thief" and then we both left. Short, sweet but for me, it meant so much. I met Jimmy Caan. Wow...now all I need to do is shake Stallone's and Rourke's hands, marry Mandy Moore and my life will be complete
Felt good to feel like a fanboy again...:)
