I was just wondering whether anyone had seen Better Than Sex (2000) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0236019/) and what they thought about the movie.

I loved it. Sharp, witty dialogue and great acting by the cast especially Christina Ricci and Lisa Kudrow. I think the reason many people don't like it is because it's a drama that doesn't take itself seriously and yet it's not a straight-out comedy.
I haven't seen it, but the plot reminds me of After Sex 2000. I enjoyed After Sex, so I will add Better than Sex to my list to see. Good Luck.

Hmm some weird response to the thread. Anyway to clear things up I did post the IMDb page to this movie on my first post as to not confuse anyone but I guess no one saw that lol! The movie is a small Aussie movie, which did alright here. I was just curious as to what people thought about it because my sis Produced the flick.

Yeah she did, she's done lot's of work for other movies and when she was helping out with The Quiet American she got me and my other sis on the set and we met Michael Caine which was pretty darned cool.

Well thats cool, he's a lot taller in person. He kept giving me weird looks which was well.....weird. He was pretty nice though, was pretty good to see him at work on the set and watching him film a few scenes. Still looking for the movie eh...damn I don't know what to say!

Anyway, as for BETTER THAN SEX, I have seen it at the video store and been tempted to rent it for quite some time. I think it looks and sounds really interesting. But I hadn't really heard any schmoes mention seeing it and I wasn't sure if it was any good or not. I definitely do plan on renting it eventually though.
