Damned Martian

OK, I saw Confidence some weeks ago, and from the moment i get out of the theater, I was trying to remember something that i haven't came acroos with:
*SPOILERS FOR CONFIDENCE*
Edward Burns' character starts narrating the movie saying that he's dead, and all his narration takes in count that he's going to end dead. This is similar to films like Sunset Blvd and even American Beauty. BUT at the end of the movie we discover that he isn't really dead, and it was just a trick.
My question is: in what movie does this happen too? I know i've seen some other movie in which the narrator who was suposed to be dead, actually isn't, but can't remember which is!
*END OF SPOILERS*
Now another questin, this time non-spoilerific: How many movies do you know that are narrated by a dead person?
