Does anyone remember this movie based on STEPHEN KINGS book of the same name?

It came out in 1984 and it starred a young Drew Barrymore and David Keith?

Well a week or two ago I bought the book for something to read. I remember seeing the movie a long time ago and the book caused me tyo rent it again. I liked it, but I feel the book is better.

Does anyone else remember this flick?

It's been eons since I've seen Firestarter, but I remember digging it. Cute little girl telepathically incinerates baddies at will...cool. I didn't bother with the made-for-TV miniseries.

I haven't seen the remake, but I didn't really get into the original.. too long.

the dad was cool, though.. LOVED that taxi cab trick: I keep trying to do it myself, actually, but it it doesn't work. :\

Excellent movie!!! :) Very underrated. One of my favorite King transfers. I grew up on this film, haven't read the book though.

Seen it years ago when I was probably too young to appreciate its full value. Perhaps I should go back and watch it again.

it isnt a bad movies at all. but its not a brilliant one either. watchable, and not a bad interpretation, but it didnt really tickle my nipples the right way...

you mean you dont like to have your nipples tickled? you are missing out on a whole world of pleasure ;)


its just an expression, relax. if something tickles your nipples, its good. if it doesnt, its not. nary a sexual interpretation in sight ;)
