1. i remember when i was a kid that i saw this one movie that this little boy has a grandpa, or i think its his uncle, and he dies. the boy then sees his grandpa again but he is a zombie. the kid thinks that he is evil but he turns out to be a good zombie. another part of the movie was that they had a pet that was probably half dog and half caterpillar/worm. i think this was a movie that came out in the 80's maybe early 90's. anyways, i vaguely remember this movie but any help would be appreciated.
2. this movie also came out in the 80's maybe early 90's and i've been told that one of the stars is the young boy from ET. its about this lake that has this monster that lives in it. the beginning of the movie starts with these kids riding their bikes over railroad tracks that are near the lake. i remember that there was this huge wheel with chains on it by the lake and the chains went down into the water. towards the end of the movie, the wheel starts spinning and the monster comes out, it looks like it has seaweed and slime dripping off of it.
please help me with these movies

The #2 movie you're thinking of is called "The Quest" and it is one of my favorite movies of all time.

The first movie you are talking about is House 2: The Second Story. Very goofy movie with the dude that played Jerry Dandridge's roommate Billy Cole in Fright Night.

the schmoes here are AWESOME at finding movies like that, but i have one that no one had identified yet:
i remember that it was a movie w/ several stories (like creepshow, tales from the darkside) there was a guy fishing and he looks down and notices an apple, he takes a bite of the apple and his neck starts bleeding, you notice a fishing line going from in his mouth to under the lake, something caught him..it ends w/ him being pulled into the lake by whatever caught him
i remember this show freaked me oput and i have never found it:(

I remember this too, it was just a quick short film. But the only part I ever saw was with the fisherman. After it pulls him in, another apple lands up on the beach.
I saw another short one like this about an old homeless man who had some kind of magical bag he used to help his friends. Some young thug jumps him and steals it for himself. The old man yells to him that "It will do you no good." Well, anyways the young thug gets hit by a car or something and the old man gets it back. It think this was like 1 or 2 minutes long.
I just found a couple links that you might be interested in. They're not quite the same but I think they're remakes.

YEEEAAAAHHH
DUDE as long as i have been here you are the first ever to know about that movie. But you dont remember the title? I thought how all the characters from each short came back in the final short as zombies was a cool touch.

I think another one of my friends saw this too, maybe he remembers the title. I'm still drawing a blank.
