R&B star Beyonce Knowles feels no shame about her saucy stage displays -- because she knows "God is okay with that."

The deeply religious Destiny's Child beauty insists there's no hypocrisy in her body-baring outfits and sexual dancing -- she's so secure in her relationship with God, she knows he understands.

Beyonce explains, "I have standards. There are things I will not do. I always carry myself like a lady. I don't feel like I ever do anything raunchy. I'm not disrespectful or dirty or nasty.

"It's entertainment and I believe God is okay with that. I honestly believe he wants people to celebrate their bodies, as long as you don't compromise your Christianity in the process.

"God is the main person in my life and I wouldn't do anything to offend him. People say it's hypocritical to wear sexy clothes and then sing about God -- but it's not like that at all. I obviously wouldn't wear hot pants in normal life or if I was going to church.

"When I'm on stage it's completely different. I'm not really me, it's just a performance. I couldn't wear most of the outfits I wear onstage to a club."

She adds, "I have a personal relationship with God and I don't see any problem with what I wear or how I dance on stage. Anything that I feel uncomfortable doing, I wouldn't do."

Blah, I'm sick of all these female rap stars and their close association with God. They thank him for their award-wins, but do you think God really gives a flying shite about them winning awards or dressing sexy?

Dressing sexy was never a sin, nor was masturbation. I don't even believe in hell anyway.

I know in the bible there is a verse that praises dancing but scantly clad and gyrating is NOT what its talking about when the word of god I saw mentioned in the article. It's great that Beyonce in her prime is making cash money dough as we speak. Well for another artist Amy Grant, she briefly dabbled in the pop arena but never wore skimpy daizey dukes or pose like penthouse pets of the month in her music videos but still maintained her image.

Actually, in some passages of the bible you can infer that he would not approve of a certain type of behavior, probably getting naked for pictures or pretending to have sex on stage. Although, it is my belief that when God disapproves of something, He lets you know through pricking at your conscience.

I think God made us as sexual beings but He has cetain rules about how we conduct ourselves, according to the bible as my source. If Beyonce is sinning by appearing the way she does, then everyone who watches her is sinning too. It doesn't seem incorrect to us becasue we are so used to much more graphic behavior, that Beyonce is tame in comparison.

It would be amusing if she actually did. How would you get a leaf to stay in place? Especially on a man?

As far as the bible goes.. I don't see any clear reference to sexy clothing being bad in the new testament (one vague reference to being nude is bad though). Maybe I missed it.
