An American website is alleging Jennifer Lopez has had cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of her lips and thin her nose. American gossip site The Scoop discovered the claims on Awfulplasticsurgery.Com - which offers photographic 'evidence' of a supposed change in J.Lo's appearance between 1998 and 2003. The website reads, "Jennifer Lopez has had subtle refinements to her appearance, she's had her lips thinned and a nose job. Jennifer's lips were larger in 1998. In October 2003, both her top and bottom lips were thinner. Jennifer's nose was also thinned back in 1999." But, in an age when many stars are paying to have their lips enhanced, the website cites Lopez' 'reduction surgery' as "an example of good plastic surgery, because the changes are not extremely noticeable and enhance her looks".

Hard to tell. Guess the people behind awfulplasticsurgery aren't so sure themselfs, they added another page but it's still not convincing.

It's funny but I saw some pictures of her in the old days of the Fly girls and she was not as pretty as she is today. I attributed it to expensive make-up and hair care but it could be plastic surgery. There was a show on this past year about the huge lengths she goes to to keep beautiful- she flies in the girl who tweezes her eyebrows, etc.

Isn't it funny to look back on high school pictures of beautiful celebs and wonder how did such a dramatic change occur in their appearance- money is a big factor. All of a sudden Kelly Ripa is so much prettier thatn she used to be- money. IMO.

Well, i know lots of girls that don't look anything near as they looked when they went to high school, and they haven't used any surgery. There's something called "stylism", and also something else called "growing up" that explains lots of the things that are shown in that page.

I don't know if J.Lo used surgery. But i think that it's not necessary at all to explain her changes. Make-up, exercise, hairdressing, and other kinds of stylism that money can buy can be the reason, added to the fact that 4 years in a young person can change till certain point her face. What if she was painting her lips too gross back then, and now she paint them thinner? Wouldn't it be possible?


PS: If she has used surgery, it has been well employed, cause now she's hotter than then. If surgery is well employed, it can be a good thing. It's when the person doesn't know the measure when it turns a joke. Pamela Anderson and Michael Jackson are examples of this.

nose exactly sam-at different angle.
and lips lined in 1st shot.
Also lips get thinner on everyone -look at own & friends photos.
The Magazine just wants to sell, IMO, and use Jennifer to do it.Put her name & picture in there, so people will pick it up.
Any magazine, anywhere can alter a photo anyway they like, depending on their ethics & value system.Bottom line.

Naaaaaah, I don't think so. I'm a portraitist, and am trained to pick up explicit detail in people's faces. I'm just not buying it with J-Lo. Marie Osmond, now, THAT was scary.

BTW, IMO, that website was kinda stupid to put J-Lo's pics under "Awful Plastic Surgery." I mean, really. If we're all wondering if she's even had it, the doctor was pretty damn good! ;)
