MINNEAPOLIS -- Former rock star Prince has reportedly been going door-to-door sharing his Jehovah's Witnesses faith.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that a suburban Jewish couple was shocked a couple of weeks ago when Prince and his bass player, Larry Graham, rang their doorbell and introduced themselves just before Yom Kippur.
The woman says that when Prince and Graham started talking about the Jehovah's Witnesses, she told them that she and her husband were Jewish and not interested -- but Prince said, "Can I just finish?"
She told the newspaper that the pair stayed for about 25 minutes, "reading Scriptures about being Jewish and the land of Israel," gave them a pamphlet and left. In her words, "It was so bizarre, you would have just laughed."

Let the midget come to my door.

I'll turn him away just as quickly as I do any other JW.

Personally I'm against religions that have to recruit people, but if Prince ever came to my door...I'd let him in. Then I'd bolt the doors shut and keep him as my entertainment slave.

Me: Perform "When Doves Cry"
Prince: I don't think so sir
Me: *pulls out large blunt object* I said NOW!!! :D

And by the way, how come Jehovah's Witness' don't celebrate Halloween?
Maybe they just don't like strangers coming up to their houses and bothering them! :D

Ok, I just re-read this story, and am totally confused. Will someone please explain to me why a door-to-door Jehovah's Witness would spend 25 minutes in a Jewish person's house reciting Jewish scriptures?

I wish Anne Heche's spaceship would drop The Artist off on my doorstep. His ass would be seeing god by the time I got through bitch-slapping him back to reality.

Prince: Chaka didn't want this, Chaka mad.
Kevin Smith: Chaka mad?
Prince: Chaka real mad.

I'm hardly surprised at this news, considering that after hearing the story of Kevin Smith's encounter with Prince on the Evening with Kevin Smith DVD, this just seems like a natural step

God, that story was hilarious. I've watched that section of the dvd so many times now.

Prince: Hey if the bra fits.

Kevin Smith: WHAT THE F**K DOES THAT MEAN!? IF THE BRA F**KIN' FITS!?

No link, but it's on the EWKS DVD. In short, here's what happened:

Smith was asked by Prince to shoot a documentary on a focus group after a week long show, each day, for Prince's new songs where there was a lot of Biblical material. Not really knowing what to do, Smith shot a lot of footage each day, with Prince showing up everyday after a couple hours, and playing all sorts of games. It goes on like this for a few days, until the last where Prince speaks for 4 hours, but very little of it is recorded, and Smith not getting paid or a thank you. In all, it's implied Prince is a huge Jehova's Witness. It's a lot better watching Smith talk about it on the DVD
