No offense to anyone, especially Jack Elam, but I thought he was one of those celebrities who was already dead.

A classic "crazy eyed" actor. Too many westerns. His eyes looked like Marty Feldman's, one normal and one looking off to the side.

I've watched the SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL GUNFIGHTER/SHERIFF movies every year for about 19 years now.

He was in those movies as an homage to his younger days, when he played a bit part in numerous westerns for several years.

He was friggin old when SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL GUNFIGHTER came out! Heh.

Doesn't mean that isn't too bad, though. RIP

RIP to Elliott Smith, too. Damned shame.
