Me and my brothers grew up watching you on tv and used to crack people up with our (bad) imitations of "The Rerun Dance." Thanks so much for all the laughs, Mr. Berry. You'll be missed.

Yeah, I just read this. I never watched 'What's Happening', but I always got a kick out of the guy otherwise. RIP indeed.
Remember when he was on Scrubs?

What an awful year for the entertainment community. Why are so many men dying early while Ronald Reagan and the Pope just keep on living?

Heres an interesting link that I found.
It's sorta a mini-reunion of the 4 main cast members including the late Fred Barry. Its a 6 min 30 sec spot from CBS w/ Bryant Gumbel, from Feb 2001 and the quality of the video is not so great. :(

Ah.... man.
Seriously this guy was one of the most fun natured people I've ever seen. He totally loved eating up his image.

My comparison is much like that. Rerun is gone, but Yoko lives on. Fucked up world.
RIP man, you were wonderful

Yeah, the fact that these other people are still alive makes his death more tragic
I'm reminded of the 'In Memoriam' segments at award shows where the audience applauds more for popular celebrities than for lesser known behind-the-scenes people.

I was just joking a little bit. I loved this guy, and found him utterly hilarious. There's no need to get mad.
