Well just got done watching the 80's version of the Blob for like the 10th time and I was wondering if anyone else enjoyed this 80's horror movie as much as I did...It has lots of gore, character development, and a good story and even a creepy twist....but I was curious....were there any sequels...I heard about a Son of the Blob...anyone seen these and are they any good?

Son of the Blob was a sequel to the 1958 original.
I'm in love with all of the Blob movies. It's such an interesting horror character. I'm still waiting for the sequel to the remake blob because the priest had it in the jar at the very end.

The original Blob had a couple of sequels, but the remake was a stand-alone. Excellent flick, the embodiment of drive-in cheese.

No. I was thinking that there was a film called Beware! The Blob, but after doing some research, I discovered that it's the same film as Son of Blob.
So, should the next movie be called Son of Blob II?

I've only seen the original 1958 version with Steve McQueen, I want the 80's version but there is currently no region2 version out :confused:

The Blob is very cool and entertaining.
I like the characters who are rebelish like Dillon.
There are deaths you don't really expect to see in this movie because it is a mainstream movie.
