Oy vey...GO AWAY CUBA GOODING JR!

CUBA GOODING JR'S DRAG APPEARANCE GOES TO THE EMMYS

Cuba Gooding Jr.'s thong-wearing appearance on an American morning chat show earlier this year has proved so popular, it's being entered for Emmy consideration.

The "Jerry Maguire" star shocked the presenters, but delighted the audience as he stepped out donning white platform boots, a revealing golden-colored outfit and a thong, barely covering his buttocks, on "The View" in February.

The actor, promoting his movie "Boat Trip," wiggled his bottom at the audience -- forcing the show's producers to blur it out, in fear of offending their early morning audience.

As shocked presenters Barbara Walters, Meredith Vieira, Joy Behar and guest host Tisha Campbell-Martin looked on, Gooding then shouted, "Did somebody order a gigolo?" before proceeding to thrust his groin at show regular Star Jones.

And the episode has proved so memorable, the show's bosses have submitted it as the one they'd like to be looked over when Emmy decision-makers choose their winners next year.

Presenter Star Jones, says, "We here at the View love Cuba Gooding Jr. and if we win that statue he's gonna have a lot to do with it."

"Cuba Gooding, Jr." and "thong" are items that should NEVER be used in conjunction.

Oh, the humanity.

Believe it or not he's been getting solid reviews for Radio with some people calling it his first good performance in years.

Me, personally I don't like him in comedies (he seems to equate funny with overacting most of the time) but he was good What Dreams May Come, Instinct and Men with Honor.

As for this, sounds kinda funny but I'm glad I don't watch The View.

Well I dunno, when he showed is assests in Jerry Maguire now thats an ASS. :D When I saw it again in Boat Trip, now youre making an ASS of yourself. But he did do the skit on SNL w/ Chris Kattan's Mango (I Love It!) But I was fortunate NOT to have seen the skit personally just caps. :(

Perhaps, but from the reviews I've read, they say it's a terrible performance, made from spare parts of Leo DiCaprio's performance from Gilbert Grape, and Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man

He must've heard about that opening in the Village People's lineup.

It wouldn't suprise me in the least if an emmy was awarded for an actor wearing a thong. That seems to be a good basis for the reason why award shows are stupid. Or at least to me they are

Cuba Gooding, Jr. fucking sucks. I've never seen someone who tries to dominate the screen so much, yet he has such a lack of true charisma and talent.

I wish he would stop acting (or stick to fare like Snow Dogs...at least we could laugh at him!) and just go get a job at the local 7-11.

One good performance (and I didn't even think his performance in Jerry Maguire was all THAT great) does not equal a good actor.
