Alien re-release, Halloween weekend

If anyone goes to see it in the theaters this Halloween, would you mind telling us some of the differences between the Director's Cut and the original version?

When I saw the deleted scenes in Aliens I was livid - I couldn't believe they cut all that important backstory out.

I am going to see it this Friday with the Hubby. I saw Alien when it was first released in theatres when I was four with my Mama.:)

Look at the Trivia for Alien at IMDB.com.
I wish they would have shot the ending the way Ridley Scott had wanted it.

I can't afford to go to the theater, but I rented the original and it kicks ass! I might have to at least rent the Director's Cut when it comes out.
