Article from IMDB:

Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Britney Spears, Michelle Pfeiffer, Russell Simmons, Harvey Weinstein and Jerry Seinfeld are facing boycotts for their stance against guns. America's National Rifle Association (NRA) has compiled a 19 page list of "enemies" of the Constitution, naming celebrities, corporations, religious groups, non-profit groups, writers, journalists and sports teams - and listed them on its website so members can boycott them. But NRA chief executive Wayne Lapierre stresses to New York website Page Six, "The list is not a blacklist. We got calls from our members wanting to know which celebrities and corporations opposed the Second Amendment... Our members don't want to support them."

The NRA's "support" of the 2nd amendment is such a sham. I mean, if you want to boycott celebrities over gun control, fine, but don't pretend like they are "enemies" of the Constitution because they favor a FEW more restrictions on arms than you do.

The funny thing is how much of hypocrites they are. They all scream constitution, but they forget freedom of speech is part of it.

I'll never understand what celebrities have against the National Restaurant Association. What the hell is wrong with a nice meal every once in a while? How many times have I seen these clueless, holier than thou, hypocritical puss bags chowin' down in some swank, pretentious dive? Why deny others the right to do the same? Restaurants don't kill people (except for the occasional fire), customers do.

This is just another stellar example of celebrity hypocrisy! (And don't even get me started on those who bash restaurants on foreign soil!)

Celebrities, will you please, just for once, keep your mouths shut and go to www.nationalrestaurantassociation.com and edjumacate yourselves a little.

THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND RUN RESTAURANTS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Julia Roberts, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah...

Sounds like a pretty good boycott list, can I get a copy?

I will NEVER understand American gun law. How people can believe having more guns will make them safer when all the evidence say otherwise is beyond me.
I'm no fan of most the people on that list but making it is truly pathetic.

Oh and Dr Loomis; LMAO

The 1st amendment? They can't even get the 2nd amendment straight.

I couldn't agree more. The NRA and their supporters jump up and down when someone famous speaks out about guns. They are showing their ignorance when they condemn them. They're always talking about how important our forefathers' decisions are, but they're forgetting all about freedom of speech. What a bunch of hypocrites.

If Julia Roberts is an "enemy of the Constitution" then the NRA is an enemy of common decency, common sense and... well ...life in general. They don't care about Columbine. No matter what happens, just don't take their guns away.

That is an excellent point. When people speak out against the NRA for clinging on to the second amendment like a baby about to scream for having its pacifier ripped from its mouth, they say that people are being biased and irrational. But somehow making a "boycott" list of celebrities is perfectly level-headed on their part. Please. I guess I should thank them, now I have yet ANOTHER reason to despise them with every fiber of my being. Woohoo!

No one else finds it perversely ironic that the right to say whatever you want is immediately followed by the right to have a gun?;)

I do. But that's because I'm not American. ;)

Kiddin' there. That's a stereotype, and it was beneath me. But seriously...those NRA fucks should go hang themselves. I'm not saying that for any NRA members -- I know very decent ones, even though we don't agree on that particular issue. But the leaders and the guys who ordered that list...go eat shit. Go fuckin' swim in it.
