She's now claiming she's not a drug addict and then proceeds to list off all the drugs she DOES take. They're all prescription drugs so in her mind since other people take them and it's legal, she doesn't have a problem.

I think if I were a judge hearing her case and she said stupid shit like that to me, the first thing out of my mouth would be:
"Bitch, what the fuck are you smoking?!"

The singer and actress appeared at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court to defend herself against charges stemming from an incident last month, when she was arrested apparently trying to break into ex-love Jim Barber's home. Hours after she was released, Los Angeles police and paramedics were called to her home and took her to hospital for a suspected drug overdose. The case against her states she illegally possessed the painkillers hydrocodone and oxycodone, which can be prescribed legally. Love is well known for her previous problems with heroin, and her late husband Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994, also had drug problems. During the trial Love complained to her lawyer William Gengeo the possible court dates conflicted with a trip to London, a video shoot and the Academy Awards. She even asked, "What is it we're continuing? Do I have to live in this weird hell?" As a consequence of her arrest, Courtney has lost custody of her daughter Frances Bean to Kurt's mother Wendy.

How to say this....THANK GOD! No longer will this child have to endure the bullshit that her mother is no doubtidly putting her through. At least the kid will have someone with brains to take care of instead of an uncarrying selfish so called "mother." Maybe now Courtney will wake the fuck up and see not so much as what she's doing to herself but what's she's doing to her child.
