I haven't seen some of those films but I honestly don't recall them being spoofed. Either IMDB listed wrong or they were deleted scenes or something.

The listing fits in the horror forums, because it is all in reference to a horror genre parody film, that of which is Scary Movie 2. X-Nightcrawler's post is about him not seeing where the references to all of these movies took place in Scary Movie 2.

A few of these I remember were parodied in the first Scary Movie, such as "Thinner"... maybe somehow IMDB fucked up again, or users submitted fake parodies, or parodies that took place in the first film, and they were too fucking stupid to tell the first film from it's sequel.

Yeah, they spoof FINAL DESTINATION.

towards the beginning, when Brenda & Cindy are walking down the street at the college, Brenda tells Cindy to watch where she is walking because it is bad luck. Then a couple behind them don't watch where they're going and a bus comes out of nowhere and splatters them. Much like Terry in FINAL DESTINATION.

They spoofed the exact same sequence of Final Destination at the end of the first Scary Movie. Why did they have to do it twice?

Actually, that wasn't really a parody of Final Destination in my opinion, since *I think* Scary Movie came out before (or on the same year) as Final Destination.

Don't forget X that a refrence to a film can be as subtle as a pattern in a wallpaper or small in joke about somthing.
To a complete spoof or satire of a whole scene from another film the more of the films you see on the list the more refrences you will uncover in Scary Movie 2.
I could rewatch it list them and post them here but to be honest I would rather have my cavitys filled with moltern steel:D

"Final Destination" came out in march of 2000 and "Scary Movie" came out in summer of 2000. It *is* possible that it *was* a spoof because they did spoof "Scream 3" (the whole Shorty video tape monolog) and "Scream 3" came out in February of 2000.

The Scary Movie's are usually slaped together toward the release date. I remember watching Entertainment Tonight and it showed them filming a scene from "Scary Movie 2" and it was being released two weeks from then.

SHIVER ME TIMBERS I did think Final Destination when that happened but I also thought that if they were in fact spoofing FD it is the dumbest thing ever.
